Post Post CNY
I think this year cny was the quietest cny i've ever celebrated. :/
Woke up pretty late on the 1st day of cny, unusually late. Then pretty same as every year, flows of ppl will come and flows of aunties or uncles will deliver the red packets for me. :) Too much sitting around doing nth besides watching tv and wishing ppl happy cny made me tired and sleepy real fast, so i headed to bed again for a nap. Ha! Miss some bunch of ol' good cousins who came to visit while i was sleeping, but nvm, managed to meet them after that and mum kept the angpaus that the aunties kirim. Oh yeah, Lilo came to stay over on the eve and 1st day of new year. Not being able to speak other languages besides English and laosian, creates a small gap for her to communicate with the visitors and the older generations. But at least she did get some amount of angpau too. :) Late in the evening there was lion dance display at nelson's hse. Quite a lousy one i thk, considering it had only one lion, and the dance went for only 15mins. Not so nice dance to look at too. Then at night, Had my 1st judi session, and i LOST. My cousin brother won alot, so we went to a nearby mamak for a free teh tarik. Buli small kid? no lah... ;)
Then came 2nd and 3rd day, people kept on visiting and my collections of angpau getting bigger and bigger. Haha! Sent Lilo back home on the 2nd day morning, and had a gathering night with the friends at Havana's. It was great as i get to meet my lovely Mel, and the bubbly girls. Supposed to stay at Mel's place, but had a headache suddenly, so drove home at 2am in the morning and slept like a pig soon after i reached home and bathed.
Other than that, the boys came to visit and i had to be their "house guide" after that. Tsk Tsk. But at least i get to see the whole bunch all together after such a long time. They are still the same boys that i knew years ago, and i'm kinda glad that we still have things to talk about. Oh well, joking around was nv hard when they are around. Maybe this is the goodness of new year after all.
And this year, special abit cause i get to meet my godbro after a long long time, still very handsome and rich looking with his BMW and cool dressings. And another thing is, different than every year, i don't do visiting this year, instead, i went on a day out with Mel, and glad that we had so much fun talking and sharing information. ;) She bought me a pretty wooden doll at Jonker. It was abit costly though, poor mel spent about RM50 just for the dolls cause she wanted to give it out to frens as gifts. Lucky we managed to con that stall into giving us 2 extra dolls for free.
Anyway, Xiaxue posted how much is her angpau collection this year, do u want me to tell mine too? ;)
Even though the collections are quite fruitful, half of it are gone for my after new year shoppings and expensive eating spree. Anyone wanna offer me their ang pau money?
